Tips for Successful Role-Playing:
We thought it would be helpful to give you a few tips, tricks and suggestions on how to role-play and plan your Flings. Below you will find information on Pre-Fling routines, how to decide if you’re going out or staying in, how to address interruptions, prop and costume ideas, different ways to communicate, and that’s just to name a few! The goal for all these ideas is to help you and your spouse get further into character and distance yourself from your normal look and routine to help to have a more successful Fling! Each Fling will have specific advice and instruction that applies to its scenario, but this list will be one that you can use over and over again to enhance your Flings. You’ll find these small changes from your everyday routine can help to bring you further and further into the fantasy…
ABSOLUTELY TALK with your spouse if any part of the Fling sounds like something that you are not comfortable with. While we don’t think we are too risque, we also do not get to determine what may be a trigger or upsetting to someone. ALWAYS talk with your spouse if you have any reservations and every sexual act should be consensual!!
We prepare you well:
We provide details and information about your character so in the beginning it reads a bit like a story. This is a fun way to learn about who you will become for a few hours and what you’re supposed to do in the Fling. At the end of your Fling Instructions you will find a short recap with a list of things that you should do to have a great Fling. This will vary from month to month and will be things like what to wear, where you will meet, how to make first contact, character traits, and ideas on how to create the perfect atmosphere for your Fling.
Your spouse knows very little about your new role:
Don’t forget the very important fact that your spouse does NOT see everything about your character, in fact we show you exactly what he does know about your new role. Keeping most of your new role private leaves you plenty of room to make any adjustments that you feel would best suit you and your husband. We offer a Spice It Up option for those you that want a few tips on how to take it from steamy to sizzling.

We find that most of our members use their date night money for their Fling and plan any purchases to coincide with a Fling. Now that we’ve cleared that up, we will continue to put our purchasing ideas out there!!

Plan Well:
This one sounds like a no brainer, but choosing the right day and time for you to dedicate to your Fling is very important. Put a lot of thought into the date, and don’t discount the middle of the work week.
Confirm you leave plenty of time for any packages to arrive prior to your Fling date.
Secure a babysitter! Get one now, and book them again for next month. Your marriage is worth it!
Choosing to Stay in or Going Out for your Fling:
Staying in or going out is totally up to you and may change from Fling to Fling depending on your schedule, desires or budget. We supply you with plenty of ideas for either option ensuring you’ll have a fantastic Fling!
Fling Flusters!! Plan on having an interruption or two:
They are going to happen if you are blessed with children, but it doesn’t have to ruin the Fling! Just PAUSE your Fling. Take care of the situation whether it be a bad dream, a work phone call, taking a babysitter home or friends dropping by to say hello at a restaurant. Then RETURN and continue your Fling right where you left off!
Communication:
Download the FREE Just Between Us App for safe and fun chatting options! You can change your name to match your Fling’s character each month! This way you know if it is for Fling communication or “regular” spousal communication.
Phone calls are personal and straight to the point, just use your new role’s names!
We often provide email templates for you to fill out to email to your spouse to help plan your Fling.
We give options to print off invitations to leave for your husband to find or simply drop it in the mail! Remember the excitement of opening a card or small package and wondering who it is from?
Try leaving surprises in areas that you know your husband will find. Maybe the best place for these fun notes, treats, or gifts is on his car steering wheel, in his gym bag, or on his pillow. Get creative with what you leave and where you leave it!
Create a secret area just for Fling communication and gifts, like a small box, drawer or top shelf in your closet.
Avoid discussing and planning your Flings outside of character—this topic deserves some additional explanation and in our opinion is critical to the enjoyment of your Flings. Do everything you can to avoid talking about things that are going to or have happened in Flings when you are conversing as yourselves. It can ruin the ability of your brain to see the fantasy fling world as something separate from everyday life. You want your spouse to be able to go full steam ahead while in character and you want to be able to do the same. Again, no judging— you are both in character, and you’re just doing your part to enjoy the Fling and help your spouse to do the same. Don’t ruin the illusion and freedom by mixing your real life with your FaithfulFling.com life. TRUST US ON THIS!!!!

Know your Character:
Take the time to really get to know your character and embrace it. From your new name, occupation, costume, to what you are suppose to do, and as always, try to put away your own life for a few hours and enjoy being someone new.
It’s also good to remember your husband knows very LITTLE about the “new you!” This will give you a lot of freedom to change anything to better suit your needs and fantasies. We suggest that you try to stick to your characters Check List, as what you do might lead or cue your spouse to do an action of their own… this is all part of the fun! If you do forget something, no problem, you’re with your best friend just trying to have a good time!
Keep it real:
Our Flings are fun, fantasy role-play scenarios, but try to keep them as realistic as possible! Part of the fun is being in a scenario that could happen in “real life” but being able to play it out in the safety of your marriage.
Why couldn’t you have fun with your spouse while getting a massage, cleaning the house, going on vacation… Look at all the fun things you and your spouse can look forward to!!
Play Nice:
So what if your spouse messed up and didn’t get something right that you thought they were supposed to do during a Fling? It’s ok. It’s just time to improvise, surely you can help them out, and they’ll do the same for you. Relax, it’s just for fun.
Don’t give up:
As with most things, it gets better with practice and time. Don’t give up! You will love the fun and excitement that having a Fling can bring to your marriage and the passion it can bring to your love life.
Pre-Fling Prep:
A typical ladies Pre-Fling Ritual consists of getting ready for a date like you usually would. Shower and shave. Do your hair and make up, and wear clothes that are appropriate for the Fling. Consider getting ready in a separate area than that of your husband the night of your Fling. This small action enhances the suspense of going out on a first date again! Once dressed and ready to go try wearing a coat to hide what’s underneath! You won’t want to reveal your look until it is time for you Fling to begin!
Keep the mystery:
In the Fling description you could be prompted to leave your residence for 15-30 minutes prior to the Fling’s start time to allow your husband a bit of privacy to create an atmosphere in the house or final costume prep. The spouse that was asked to leave will often use that time for any final touches of their own. This is another way to keep the mystery alive, “Who will you be tonight?”
When I have been the spouse asked to leave to give my husband some privacy I have hung out in my basement, sat in the car and finished my make-up, or even ran to the drug store for a few last minute items!
Setting the Stage:
If your new character is given the task to create a “scene” in an area of your home make sure you leave plenty of time to complete that before your Fling begins. This can be one of the best parts of the Pre-Fling Ritual, so much so you won’t mind putting it all back the way it was before the Fling began. (Yes, if you create the space, you uncreate the space after your Fling is complete!) A few suggestions would be to remove any family pictures, rearrange the furniture, dim the lights, light candles, display any new purchases, and so on. You will find that you can get really good at creating a bar in your kitchen, a massage parlor in your bedroom, and an office in the dining room.
Props: Do you have any items that you use just for Flings?
Yes! We provide several suggestions on how you can temporarily change your appearance and suggestions for items that are totally different than what you normally use. We love playing on the fantasy of “you’ve never worn it, and he’s never seen it!” Absolutely worth the extra effort to get out of your typical routine.
Scent:
Try using a new bottle of perfume, cologne, body wash or lotion ONLY when in character during your Flings. It can be as easy as the next time you’re in a hotel take all those samples home with you and use them during your next Fling.
Hair:
I know this sounds pretty simple, but you can seriously change your look by changing your hair. Do you usually wear a ponytail? Wear it down. Is it naturally curly? Use a flat iron and straighten it. Look online and get several ideas on how to create a new hair style with your existing color and cut or use a Fling as an excuse to change your color or cut your and debut your new look as a total surprise for your husband!
Wigs:
From expensive to the cheapest versions, they do the trick of completely changing up your look! Don’t discount the colorful clip-in extensions, they could be just the edge you’re looking for.
Eye glass frames:
Frames are a great way to change up your look. They are easy to find online or at drugstores. Choose colorful and fun styles without prescriptions or try blue light lenses.
Temporary Tattoos:
A fun and fast way to alter your appearance for a Fling. Eye make up remover works great on getting rid of them right away or just leave them where you’re left with a fun little reminder of your Fling for about 3 days!
Spray tans and self tanners:
Try one from a professional spray tan artist or simply try a self tanning lotion on your own. Self tanning products typically take 8 hours to develop, plan accordingly, and wash your hands REALLY well!
Panties:
A new pair per Fling! They can be less than $5 a pair and just the detail you need to get into character! Or no panties… maybe that will really get his attention!
Lingerie:
Enjoy the feeling of wearing lingerie under your clothes and love the idea of debuting the look later in the evening. Whether you wear it for you or for your husband, I know he won’t be able to stop thinking about what you might be wearing!
Clothes and shoes:
Time your purchases with your Flings! Maybe you are in the market for new clothes or shoes that you were planning to purchase regardless, why not showcase them during a Fling? It will be something new for both of you! Again, it goes with the idea that he’s never seen it, you’ve never worn it, so it will add to the chemistry, mystery and fantasy of the Fling!
A few other suggestions:
Always have a drink in your hand! It doesn’t matter if it is champagne or sparkling cider, just have one nearby. Not only is it sexy drinking out of a fancy glass but it gives you something to do with your hands. Taking a sip will also allow you a few precious seconds to come up with something to say if you need the time!
Have a great playlist playing in the background. Consider changing up the style of music you typically listen to.
Candles or dimmed lights can set the mood and provide just the right amount of light for you and your husband to see all the effort you’ve put into your Fling!
Final Fling Prep:
Faithful Fling provides a short Summary and To Do List at the end of every Fling Description. You can easily review the last minute details before your Fling begins. We are confident that you will feel prepared and know just what is expected of you!
Don’t forget how important it is to embrace your new role and truly become her for a few hours. Not only is it super sexy being someone new, it can be very freeing as well.
How long do your Flings last?
Well that depends on… everything! Did you stay in or go out? Did you have any interruptions? Did you use the date part of the Fling as it is designed to bring out all the talking, flirting, and foreplay before you allowed the passion to totally take over?
On average most Flings are designed to last for several hours.
